How is it possible? The hero and heroine in this book are complex, engaging, and sexy together, but at times their actions are so lame-brained that the book becomes almost impossible to read. She has a secret; he cannot forgive her for lying to him. That's about it.
As with Somewhere I'll Find You, the inner workings of the Capital Theatre and the troop of actors are fascinating. We have reprise appearances from Damon and Julia and the wonderful aging actress Mrs. Florence.
Lisa Kleypas is one of my favorite HR authors, and even though this book is not among her best it's still superior to most.
