Once again, Victoria Vane magically transports the reader back into Georgian England. Her ear for dialogue is simply faultless. And while Viscount DeVere has been a fascinating presence in the previous two installments, this time he is the Star. And what a delicious bad boy he is! Lady Diana doesn't stand a chance against him. And although they part as enemies at the end, I can't wait for the final chapter, when these two will no doubt find their way back into one another's arms.
Oh, I almost forgot to mention (how could I?) that DeVere and Diana burn up the sheets, and your Kindle may start smoking.
