Caroline Bingley is just as difficult to like in this book as in Pride and Prejudice, although the author has shown a softer side and explained some of her less admirable traits and conduct. Nevertheless, it is difficult to understand why the hero falls in love with her.
Jane Austen sequels are never as good as we want them to be, which is why I've read only a few. This is among the better ones. It's free in the Kindle Lending Library.
